A clear holder has been designed so you can align your lettering to the centre of your cookie just by looking through the top. To use, slide your letters along the holder in reverse order. This is so when you press your stamp into your cookie or fondant, it reads correctly. The length of our holder provides the user with the ability to add two words at each end for ease of getting the ‘job done’ quickly and efficiently.

Once your letters are inserted and aligned straight, simply tighten all three screws to lock letters in place. Inside the holder is a 3mm piece of acrylic. This is what locks your letters evenly in place.

Our letters have been designed to minimise the spacing between each character. This is called ‘kerning’ which is the spacing between characters in a proportional font, usually to achieve a visually pleasing result. No spacers are required because of our ingenious holder design.

Dust the letters with cornflour before using with fondant, cookie dough or clay. A great tip is to add some cornflour in a stocking sock or chux cloth, close with a rubber band and dust. This provides a light layer of dust to prevent sticking.

Apply even pressure and stamp away.

CLEANING

Simply wipe them with a damp cloth if required, ready for next use.

If fondant sticks on the lettering, using a needle scribe or toothpick, carefully scrape or pick off the fondant. You can also wash in cool to warm water with dishwashing detergent and a soft brush. Do not immerse in hot water. Not suitable for dishwasher.
